The Radar - Book suggestions

What are you doing these days? If the only answer that you can come up with is frying your brain for either exams or long essays, don't worry, same here!
However, if you have time to kill, a good book is always a good companion.
I have some book suggestions for you, of books that i have either read during leisure time or for university purposes.

1.  1Q84 by Haruki Murakami

Ok, don't freak out! Yes, the author is japanese. Yes, there is a portion of the usual japanese distortion in there. However, i promise you that it's one of the best books I've ever read! After reading it you're going to question things in a way that you never did. History, phylosophy and fantasy are nicely woven to create the perfect novel. Don't miss it.

2. Great Expectations by Charles Dickens

A classic but also a quite easy-going book. Mid nineteenth century in London and Kent's countryside. A book with cheerful tone and didactic message; that you should always dream, no matter your sex, class, or economical status. Life is full of surprises. Also morality is an underlined motif.

3. The Shinning by Stephen King

I have to admit it! I don't enjoy thrillers! However, that book was so breathtaking that I couldn't stop reading it! You can always choose the "safer" version of the movie, but the book is so well-written that it absolutely deserves a bit of your time. A complete must.

I hope that the post is somehow illuminating! Have a great weekend!
